Using creative concepts to tackle the shutdown of fashion stores
You may remember the huge press interest when the fashion house Blum-Jundt opened the world’s first toilet paper flagship store in the picturesque town of Emmendingen on March 23. To draw attention to the absurd opening rules in the German retail sector, which only allowed grocery stores and drugstores to open – but denied local fashion retailers the right to do so, Blum-Jundt applied for a change in the product range, which in the future would also include toilet paper, pasta and other consumer goods.
